''തീവ്രാനുരാഗം''

ഇന്നലെ പൗര്‍ണമി ആയിരുന്നു.നിദ്ര അനുഗ്രഹിക്കാന്‍ മറന്നുപോയതോ,അതോ കുസൃതി കാട്ടിയതോ ......? അറിയില്ല ...നീയെനിക്ക് സൂര്യനോ, ചന്ദ്രനോ ......?നീയെന്നെ നിലാവെന്നു വിളിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട് പലപ്പോളും,പക്ഷേ നിനക്കുതെറ്റി.ഞാന്‍ സൂര്യനാണ് .അത് ഞാന്‍ മനസ്സിലാക്കുന്നത് നീ അരികിലേക്ക് വരുമ്പോഴാണ് .നിന്റെ സാന്നിദ്യം സമ്മാനിക്കുന്ന തണുപ്പ് അനുഭവിച്ചു അറിയുന്നത്.അതെ !നിന്റെ സ്നേഹത്തിന്റെ ശീതലതയുല്കൊള്ളന്‍ എനിക്കാവില്ല.കാരണം എന്റെ പ്രഭാത രശ്മികളും ,തീക്ഷണതാപവും പോക്കുവെയിലും ലഭിച്ചില്ലഎങ്കില്‍........വേണ്ട കാര്‍മേഘത്തെ ഞാന്‍ ക്ഷണിക്കുകയാണ്‌.എന്നെ മറയ്ക്കട്ടെ പൂര്‍ണമായും;

നിന്റെ സാമീപ്യം ഞാന്‍ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നില്ല .കാരണം നീയെന്റെ പരാജയമാണ് എന്നെ തളര്‍ത്തിതനുപിച്ചിട്ടു നിന്റെ പരിഹാസച്ചിരി,അത് ഞാന്‍ കണ്ടിട്ടുണ്ട് പലവട്ടം.പക്ഷേ ആ പരിഹാസം എനികിഷ്ടമാണ് .എന്തെന്നാല്‍ സ്നേഹിക്കാന്‍ മാത്രമേ എനിക്കറിയു ......നിന്റെ മനസിന്റെ വലുപ്പം,വേദന ,അതെനിക്കരിയാമയിരുന്നു .മൗനത്തിന്റെ വാല്മീകത്തില്‍ അഭയംതേടുന്നതിന്റെ പിന്നില്‍ സ്വാര്‍ത്ഥ ലാഭങ്ങളുടെ ചതുരംഗകളികളാണ്.അതും നീ പഠിച്ചിടുണ്ടാവുമല്ലോ.ദുരുഹതകള്‍ അവശേഷിപ്പിക്കുക എന്റെ രീതിയാണ്‌എന്നു നീ തെറ്റിധരിച്ചു.അല്ല, നോക്കു ഇതെല്ലം മുകളിലുള്ള വിദ്വാന്റെ ചരടുവലികളാണ്.പരസ്പരം അളന്നു തൂക്കാനുള്ള പാവകളിപ്പിക്കള്‍.അത് നമുക്ക് എത്ര മധുരമുള്ള ഓര്‍മ്മകള്‍ സമ്മാനിച്ചു.ഒപ്പം വേദനയും...........പിണക്കങ്ങള്‍ നമ്മെ ശിശുക്കള്‍ ആക്കി.ഇണക്കങ്ങള്‍ പക്വതയും.നീയെനിക്കുവേണ്ടി ചെയ്ത ഓരോനന്മകളും എനിക്ക് തീരാത്ത വേദനകള്‍ ആണല്ലോ സമ്മാനിച്ചത്‌.അതിന്റെ ഉദ്വേശ ശുദ്ദിയെ ഞാന്‍ ഉള്കൊള്ളുന്നുണ്ടായിരുന്നു.പക്ഷേ ത്രാസില്‍ വേദനക്കയിരുന്നു പ്രാമുഖ്യം.അത് നമ്മുടെ കുറ്റമല്ല.സൂര്യന്റെ സാന്നിദ്യത്തില്‍ ചന്ദ്രന് അസ്ഥിതമില്ലല്ലോ ...തിരിച്ചും .
എനിക്ക് പരാതിയില്ല.ഞാന്‍ നിന്നെ ശപിചിട്ടില്ല.കാരണം നിന്റെ സ്നേഹത്തിന്റെ ആഴമറിയാതെ നിന്നെ ഞാന്‍ വേദനിപ്പിച്ചു.പരിഹസിച്ചു .പകരം തരാന്‍ ഞാന്‍ അഭിനയിച്ചു.നീറുന്ന മനസ്സോടെ ...................................
ഈ അശരീരി കേള്‍ക്കു .. ''ബുദ്ധിയുള്ള വിഡ്ഢികള്‍ ''
                                        ''സൗഭാഗ്യമുള്ള ഭാഗ്യദോഷികള്‍''
ശരിയല്ലേ....പക്ഷേ ഇതിനെ നാം സ്വീകരിക്കെണ്ടിയിരിക്കുന്നു.കാരണം പൂര്‍ണതയുടെ അവസാന വാക്ക് മരണമാണ്,സര്‍വനാശം ആണ് .എങ്കിലും വസന്തം ഒരിക്കല്‍ ഭൂമിയെ സുന്ദരിയാക്കും...അല്ലങ്കില്‍ ഒരു നിയോഗം പോലെ ....ആ ദിനം സമാഗമം പിന്നീട് പെയ്ത മഴയുടെ തുല്യം കണ്ണീരു വീണു തണുതിട്ടോ ?

Parturition...

He searched his pen
And found it empty but dusty
His eyes hunted for some papers
Get some with dirt and filth

Sat on the long armed chair,
Scratched his big head and black beard,
Stared on the unpainted roof
Sow nothing ,but the grinning tiles

Gave life to a cigar
Puffed once or twice agogly
Coughed twice or thrice wildly
Nothing, but smoke came out

"BEGGAR"
I decorated the screamer with
Full of lines and shades
The empty papers stared at him
He threw it in to the hungry dust bin

Filled with the undigested food,
The hungry bin vomited
New papers, same starting,but
The rest gleamed emptily

Walked,scratched,smoked, traced,
Coughed, sat, stood, and threw again
My pen barren??!
Got up and off market

His revenues eyes goggled...
Tired of familiar faces......
And there he saw........
Saw a beggar..!!! clasped his arms

Embraced, kissed on cheeks

ഇരുളടഞ്ഞ ജീവിതം

ഒരു നിമിഷം കണ്ണടച്ച് നോക്ക്,ഇരുട്ട മാത്രം.വെളിച്ചത്തിന്റെ ഒരു തുമ്പ് പോലും കാണാനില്ല.ജീവിതം മുഴുവന്‍ ഇങ്ങനെ കഴിയാന്‍ നമ്മെ കൊണ്ടാകുമോ? മരണം വരെയും ഇരുട്ടിലൂടെ മാത്രം ജീവിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന ലക്ഷക്കണക്കിന്‌ ആളുകള്‍ നമ്മുടെ രാജ്യത്തുണ്ട്,സെന്‍സെസ് പ്രകാരം രണ്ടു കോടി പത്തുലക്ഷം പേരും അംഗവൈകല്യം ഉള്ളവരാണ്അവരുടെ യാതനകളിലൂടെ...................

ഇതു ആലപ്പുഴ മണണ്ന്ചേരി വടക്കു ആര്യനാട് ഷാപ്പ്‌ ചിറയിലെ അന്ധനായ ശിവദാസന്‍. ആരെയും ആശ്രയികാതെ ജീവിക്കുന്നു.വേമ്പനാട്ടു കായലില്‍ കക്കവാരിയാണ് ശിവദാസന്‍ തന്‍റെ കുടുംബം പുലര്‍ത്തുന്നത്.ഒരു കാററ് വന്നാല്‍ നിലം പോത്താവുന്ന രീതിയിലുള്ള ഷെട്ട്ഢിലാണ് താമസം.ഭാര്യാ രാജേഷ്വരിയും രണ്ടു മക്കളും അടങ്ങുന്നതാണ് കുടുംബം.മക്കളുടെ പടിപ്പിനായി ശിവദാസന്‍ നന്ന്നേ പാടുപെടുന്നു.വീടിനു അപേക്ഷിച്ചെങ്കിലും അത് പാതി വഴിയില്‍ നില്ക്കുന്നു.കാക്ക വരന്‍ യാത്രയക്കുന്നത് രാജേശ്വരിയാണ്.കായലിലേക്ക് വള്ളത്തിലാണ് യാത്ര.അമ്പതു മുഴം നീളമുള്ള കയര്‍ അറയില്‍ കെട്ടി മറ്റേയറ്റം തോണിയില് കെട്ടി ,കായലില്‍ മുങ്ങി കക്ക വരുന്നു.ചരടില്‍ പിടിച്ച തിരിച്ചു വള്ളത്തില്‍ കയറുന്നു.സുഖവസതിനായി ഹൗസ് ബോട്ടില്‍ ലക്ഷങ്ങള്‍ ചിലവഴിക്കുന്നവരും മണല്‍ മഫിയക്കാരും സ്വന്തമാക്കിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്ന ഈ കായലിലാണ് ജീവിക്കാനായി ശിവദാസന്‍ ഇരുട്ടില്‍ മുങ്ങിതപ്പുന്നത്.

കാഴ്ച്ച ഇല്ലാത്തവര്‍ക്ക് വേണ്ടിയുള്ള വഴുതക്കടുള്ള സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ വിദ്യാലയമാണ് ഇത്.

ഇവിടെ ആണ്‍കുട്ടികളും പെണ്‍കുട്ടികളും പഠിക്കുന്നു.സര്‍ക്കാരില്‍ നിന്നും വേണ്ടത്ര ആനുകൂല്യം ലഭിക്കതതുമൂലം ചെലവ് നടത്താന്‍ അദ്യാപകര്‍ വലയുന്നു.പ്രതിമാസം അഞ്ഞൂറ് രൂപയാണ് സര്‍നിന്നും ലഭിക്കുന്നത്.എന്തെങ്കിലും അസുഖം കുട്ടികള്‍ക്ക് വന്നാല്‍ ഹോസ്പിറ്റലില്‍ കൊണ്ടു പോകാന്‍ വാഹന ഇല്ല.ഓട്ടോറിക്ഷ പോലും അടുത്തെങ്ങും കിട്ടാനില്ലാത്ത അവസ്ഥയാണ്‌.അന്ധത ഒരു രോഗമായി കണക്കാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്ന ഈ സമൂഹത്തില്‍ ഇരുട്ടിനെ മറികടന്നു വിജയത്തിലെത്താന്‍ കഷ്ട്ടപ്പെടുന്ന ഒരു കൂട്ടം കുട്ടികളാണ് ഇവിടെ താമസിച്ച പഠിക്കുന്നത്.ജീവിതത്തില്‍ വെളിച്ചം മാത്രമല്ല ഇരുട്ടും ഉണ്ടെന്നു നാം ഓര്‍ക്കേണ്ടത് ഇത്തരം ജീവിതങ്ങള്‍ കാണുമ്പോള്‍ മാത്രം ആയിരിക്കരുത്.

എന്തിനൊരു R.T. ഓഫീസ്, consultants റെഡി!

തിരുവനന്തപുരത്തിനടുത്തു ആറ്റിങ്ങലില്‍ ഞങ്ങള്‍ കണ്ട ഒരു ദിനചര്യയുടെ ഭാഗമാണ് ഇത്.

സ്ഥലം: ആറ്റിങ്ങല്‍ R.T. ഓഫീസ്. സമയം: 10 A.M

ഒരു സുഹൃത്തിനു വേണ്ടി Learners ഫോം വാങ്ങാന്‍ എത്തിയതാണ് ഞങ്ങള്‍. R.T.ഓഫീസില്‍ തിരക്കിയപ്പോള്‍ അവിടെ ഫോം ഇല്ല. തൊട്ടു മുന്നിലത്തെ കടയില്‍ ഉണ്ട് എന്ന് ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥന്‍ പറഞ്ഞ പ്രകാരം ഞങ്ങള്‍ അവിടെ പോയി. ഫോം ചോദിച്ച ഉടനെ വന്നു മറുപടി: ഇല്ല. പിന്നെ ചോദ്യങ്ങള്‍, എന്ത് കാര്യത്തിനാണ്, license ഇതിനൊക്കെ വേണം എന്നിങ്ങനെ. ഒടുവില്‍ അദ്ദേഹം തുറന്നു തന്നെ പറഞ്ഞു, കാശും ഫോട്ടോയും തന്നാല്‍ മതി ഏതു license വേണേലും എടുത്തു തരാം. 1500 രൂപ തന്നാല്‍ മതി, ടെസ്റിന് മാത്രം ചെന്നാല്‍ മതി. ബാകി എല്ലാം അദ്ദേഹം നോക്കികൊള്ളും.

ഇത് എങ്ങനെ സാധിക്കുന്നു! എന്ന് ചോദിക്കണം എന്നുണ്ടായിരുന്നു, പക്ഷെ സാഹചര്യം ഞങ്ങളെ അതിനു അനുവദിച്ചില്ല. കുറച്ചു ദൂരെ മറ്റൊരു കടയില്‍ നിന്നും ഞങ്ങള്‍ ഫോം വാങ്ങി. അവിടെ ചോദിച്ചപ്പോഴാണ് കാര്യം പിടി കിട്ടിയത്, ഈ consultants- ന്റെ ദിവസ വരുമാനം ഏകദേശം 3000 രൂപ വരും. ദിവസവും നൂറു കണക്കിന് ഇടപാടുകളാണ് R.T.ഓഫീസില്‍ ഇവര്‍ മുഖാന്തരം നടക്കുനതു. ആരും R.T.ഓഫീസില്‍ നിന്ന് സമയം പാഴാക്കാന്‍ തയാറല്ല. 200-300 രൂപ കൂടുതല്‍ നല്‍കിയാല്‍ കാര്യം എളുപ്പത്തില്‍ കഴിക്കാം.

കുറച്ചു കഴിഞ്ഞു പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയപ്പോഴാണ് മറ്റൊരു സേവനം കണ്ടത്, ഒരു agent ബൈക്ക്ന്റെ എഞ്ചിന്‍ നമ്പര്‍ എഴുതി എടുക്കുന്നു. തിരക്കിയപ്പോള്‍ ഇന്‍ഷുറന്‍സ് തീര്‍ന്നു പോയി, പുതുക്കണമെങ്കില്‍ വണ്ടി ഹാജരാക്കണം, കമ്പനിയില്‍ പോകണം, നിയമാനുസൃതമായ എല്ലാ ഭാഗങ്ങളും ഉണ്ടാകണം അങ്ങനെ അങ്ങനെ. നമ്മുടെ consultant-മാര്‍ ഉള്ളത് കൊണ്ട് നോ പ്രോബ്ലം! എഞ്ചിന്‍ നമ്പര്‍ മാത്രം തരൂ, കാശും, ഇവര്‍ പുതുക്കിതരും നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇന്‍ഷുറന്‍സ്, മണികൂറുകള്‍ക്കുള്ളില്‍. ചില സ്വകാര്യ ബന്ധങ്ങളുടെ പുറത്താണ് ഇവര്‍ ഈ കാര്യങ്ങള്‍ നിഷ്പ്രയാസം നടത്തി എടുക്കുന്നത്. R.T.O യുടെ മൂക്കിനു കീഴിലാണ് ഈ ബിസിനസ്‌ നടക്കുനതു എന്നുളത് ഒരു സത്യം മാത്രം.

തളരാത്ത പോരാട്ടത്തിനു ഇരുപതു വയസ്സ്..

'സച്ചിനേവ ജയതേ'- സച്ചിന്‍ രമേശ്‌ തെണ്ടുല്‍കര്‍ അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര ക്രിക്കറ്റില്‍ 20 വര്‍ഷം പൂര്‍ത്തിയാക്കിയ ദിവസം ഒരു മലയാള ദിനപത്രം പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയത് ഈ തലക്കെട്ടോടെ ആയിരുന്നു. ഒന്നാം പേജില്‍ സച്ചിന്‍ മാത്രം. ആ ദിവസം ഇന്ത്യയിലെ ഒട്ടു മിക്ക പത്രങ്ങളും പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയത് ഈ തരത്തിലാകാനെ വഴിയുള്ളൂ. കാരണം ഇന്ത്യക്കാര്‍ക്ക് സച്ചിന്‍ അത്രമേല്‍ പ്രിയപ്പെട്ടതാണ്. മഹാത്മാഗാന്ധിയെ രാഷ്ട്രത്തിന്റെ പിതാവായി കാണുന്ന ജനങ്ങള്‍ സച്ചിനെയാണ് രാഷ്ട്രത്തിന്റെ മകനായി കാണുന്നത്. ഓരോ ഇന്ത്യക്കാരനും തങ്ങളുടെ സ്വന്തമായി കാണുന്ന ഒരേയൊരു സച്ചിന്‍.

സച്ചിന്‍ തെണ്ടുല്‍കര്‍- ആ പേര് മാത്രം മതി, ലോകമെമ്പാടുമുള്ള ബൌളര്‍മാരെ ഭയച്ചകിതരാക്കാന്‍. അവരില്‍ ഒരു പേടിസ്വപ്നമായി സച്ചിന്‍ നിറഞ്ഞാടാന്‍തുടങ്ങിയിട്ട് ഇരുപതു വര്‍ഷം പൂര്‍ത്തിയാകുന്നു. 1989 ഇല്‍ പാകിസ്ഥാനെതിരെ കറാച്ചിയില്‍ കളിക്കാനിരങ്ങുംപോഴുള്ള അതെ ആവേശവും ഊര്‍ജ്ജവും ഇന്നും സച്ചിനില്‍ നിലനില്‍ക്കുന്നു. അന്നത്തെ ആ നാണം കുണുങ്ങി പയ്യന്റെ പേരിലാണ് ഇന്ന് ക്രിക്കറ്റിലെ ബാറ്റിംഗ് റെക്കോര്‍ഡ്‌ മിക്കതും. സച്ചിന്റെ പേരിലുള്ള റെക്കോര്‍ഡ്‌ എല്ലാം എഴുതാനാണെങ്കില്‍ അതിനു വേണ്ടി മാത്രം രണ്ടോ മൂന്നോ പേജുകള്‍ വേണ്ടി വന്നേക്കാം.

1983 ലോകകപ്പ് വിജയത്തിന് ശേഷമാണ് ക്രിക്കറ്റ്‌ ഇന്ത്യയില്‍ ഒരു ആവേശമായി പടര്‍ന്നു കയറിയതെങ്കില്‍, അതിനെ ഒരു മതമാക്കി വളര്‍ത്തിയത്‌ സച്ചിനാണ്. അതുകൊണ്ടാണല്ലോ 'ക്രിക്കറ്റ്‌ ഞങ്ങളുടെ മതമാണ്‌, സച്ചിന്‍ ദൈവവും' എന്നിങ്ങനെയുള്ള ബാനറുകള്‍ പലപ്പോഴും ഗാലറികളില്‍ കാണാന്‍ കഴിയുന്നതും. ഇന്ത്യന്‍ ക്രിക്കറ്റ്‌ എന്നാല്‍ സച്ചിന്‍ തെണ്ടുല്‍കര്‍ എന്ന് പറയുന്നതില്‍ ഒട്ടും അതിശയോക്തിയില്ല. കാരണം ഇന്ത്യന്‍ ക്രിക്കറ്റ്‌ അത്രമേല്‍ സച്ചിനോട് കടപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു. മറ്റാര്‍ക്കും സ്വപ്നം കാണാന്‍ പോലുമാകാത്ത ഇത്രയധികം നേട്ടങ്ങള്‍ സ്വന്തമായി ഉണ്ടായിട്ടും ഒരിക്കല്‍പോലും തന്റെ നേട്ടത്തില്‍ സച്ചിന്‍ അഹങ്കരിക്കുന്നില്ല. അവയെല്ലാം സച്ചിനെ കൂടുതല്‍ വിനയാന്വിതന്‍ ആക്കുന്നതെയുള്ളൂ. അതുതന്നെയാണ് സച്ചിന്റെ യഥാര്‍ത്ഥ മഹത്വവും.

ആധുനിക ക്രിക്കറ്റിലെ ബ്രാഡ്മാന്‍ എന്നാ വിളിപ്പേരുള്ള സച്ചിന്‍ ബ്രാട്മാനെക്കള്‍ മുകളിലാണെന്നു വാദിക്കുന്നവരും ഏറെയുണ്ട്. ഇന്നത്തെപോലെ ഇത്ര സമ്മര്‍ദ്ദവും വ്യത്യസ്ത സാഹചര്യങ്ങളും തുടര്‍ച്ചയായ മത്സരങ്ങളും ഒന്നും ബ്രാഡ്മാന്‍ അഭിമുഖീകരിച്ചിട്ടില്ല എന്നതാണ് അവര്‍ ഉയര്‍ത്തുന്ന വാദഗതി. ഇത് ഒരുപക്ഷെ ശരിയായിരിക്കാം. കാരണം 110 കോടിയിലേറെ ജനങ്ങളുടെ പ്രതീക്ഷകളും ചുമലില്‍ പേറിയാണ് സച്ചിന്‍ ബാറ്റ് ചെയ്യാന്‍ ക്രീസില്‍ ഇറങ്ങുന്നത്. സച്ചിന്‍ ബാറ്റ് ചെയ്യാന്‍ ഇറങ്ങുമ്പോള്‍ ഇന്ത്യ മറ്റെല്ലാം മറക്കുന്നു. ഒറ്റക്കെട്ടായി സച്ചിന് വേണ്ടി പ്രാര്‍ത്ഥിക്കുന്നു. സച്ചിന്‍ ഔട്ട്‌ ആയാല്‍ T.V ഓഫ്‌ ചെയ്തു പോകുന്നവരുടെ എണ്ണം കോടികളാണ്. അതിന്റെ പകുതി പോലും അംഗങ്ങള്‍ ഇല്ലാത്ത രാഷ്ട്രീയ പാര്‍ടികള്‍ ആണല്ലോ ഇന്ത്യയില്‍ ഭൂരിഭാഗവും!

ഇത്രയൊക്കെ ആയിട്ടും സച്ചിന്‍ ഒരു കാര്യത്തില്‍ ദുഖിതനാണ്. രാജ്യത്തിന്‌ വേണ്ടി ഒരു ലോകകപ്പ് നേടിക്കൊടുക്കാന്‍ സച്ചിനെകൊണ്ട് ഇതുവരെ കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടില്ല. ലോകകപ്പ് കൂടി നേടിയാല്‍ സച്ചിനെന്ന കളിക്കാരന്‍ അതിന്റെ പൂര്‍ണതയില്‍ എത്തും. ഇതൊരു ശക്തമായ അഭിനിവേശമായി സച്ചിന്റെ ഉള്ളിലുണ്ടാകും. അങ്ങനെ ആണെങ്കില്‍ 1998 ല്‍ ഷാര്‍ജയില്‍ ഓസീസിനെയും 2003 ല്‍ സെന്ച്ചുരിയനില്‍ പാകിസ്താനെയും തകര്‍ത്തു തരിപ്പണമാക്കിയ ആ സംഹാര താണ്ടവം 2011 ല്‍ ഇന്ത്യന്‍ മണ്ണിലും ആവര്‍ത്തിച്ചു കൂടെന്നില്ല. ഓരോ ഇന്ത്യക്കാരനും അതിനു വേണ്ടി കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു. അതെ സച്ചിന്‍, താങ്കള്‍ക്കത്‌ കഴിയും.

നോടെല്‍ ഓഫീസ് ക്ലാര്‍ക്ക് ന്റെ വാക്കുകള്‍ അതിനു കൂടുതല്‍ തെളിവ് തന്നു ..

"കോഴിക്കോട് മെഡിക്കല്‍ കോളേജ് സൈകാര്ടിക് വിഭാഗമാണ് കണ്ണൂര്‍ ജില്ലയ്ക്കു മേല്‍നോട്ടം വഹിക്കുന്നത്..കേരളത്തിലെ മറ്റു ജില്ലകളെ അപേക്ഷിച്ച് നന്നായി നടത്തി കൊണ്ട് പോകാന്‍ സാധിക്കുന്നു എന്ന ചാരിതാര്‍ത്ഥ്യം ഞങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു ,എന്നാല്‍ ഇന്നത്തെ സ്ഥിതി മറിച്ചാണ്.. തിരുവനന്തപുരം പോലുള്ള ജില്ലകളില്‍ പ്രോഗ്രാം ഉപേക്ഷിക്കേണ്ടി വരുന്ന ഘട്ടത്തിലാണ് ..

     മാസവും 65 മുതല്‍ 75 വരെ രോഗികള്ള്‍ ചികിത്സയ്ക്കായി എത്തുന്നുണ്ട്.അതില്‍ പുതിയ രോഗികള്‍  ഏറെയാണ്‌ .. സാമ്പത്തികമായി ഏറെ പിന്നിക്കം നില്ല്കുന്ന ഇത്തരക്കാര്‍ക്ക് ഇതൊരു അനുഗ്രഹമായിരുന്നു..24 തരാം മരുന്നും ഉള്‍പെടുന്ന സൗജന്യ ചികിത്സ ഏറെ ഫലപ്രദമായിരുന്നു ..പക്ഷെ ഇപ്പോള്‍ 8 മാസത്തോളമായി ഞങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് ശമ്പളം പോലുമില്ല.ചികിത്സ തുടരുന്നു എന്നല്ലാതെ മരുന്ന് പോലും ഇല്ല.. ആദ്യതെതില്‍ നിന്നും രോഗികള്‍ വരുന്നതും കുറയാന്‍ തുടങ്ങി . അവരുടെ നിസ്സഹായാവസ്ഥ നേരിട്ട കാണുന്ന ഞങ്ങള്‍ ഇതില്‍ ഒരുപാട് ദുഖിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്."

മാനസികമായി വേദന അനുഭവിക്കുന്ന കുറെ പാവങ്ങളോടുള്ള സഹതാപ വാക്കുകളായി ഞങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് അത് അനുഭവപ്പെട്ടു...അവര്‍ നിസ്സഹായരായിരുന്നു.. ഇത്തരത്തില്‍ വലിയ വലിയ സംരംഭങ്ങള്‍ തുടങ്ങിവെക്കാന്‍ സന്മനസ്സു കാണിച്ച നേതൃത്വം അതിന്‍റെ ലകഷ്യപ്രാപ്തി വരെ കാത്തിരിക്കെണ്ടാതല്ലേ? ..

     കേന്ദ്ര ഗോവെര്‍ന്മേന്റിനോട് അവര്‍ അന്വേഷിച്ചു.. ഉത്തരം വളരെ വിചിത്രമായാണ് തോന്നിയത്.."കേരളത്തില് ഇത്രമാത്രം മനസികരോഗികള്‍ ഉണ്ടാകുമെന്ന് പ്രതീക്ഷിച്ചില്ല..." എന്നാണ്..

Trivandrum is the capital of Kerala and the headquarters of the District. It is located on the west coast of India near the extreme south of the mainland. Referred to by Mahatma Gandhi as the "Evergreen city of India", the city is characterized by its undulating terrain of low coastal hills. With almost 800,000 inhabitants as per census, it is the largest and most populous city in Kerala. The corporation was divided in to 24 wards covering an area of 30.66 km² in 1940. On 12/11/2009 six more places around Trivandrum is included in the corporation area, now there are 86 wards. The city corporation is ruled by the council of 86 members, headed by the Mayor. The law and order of the city is handled by the City Police Commissioner.There are clear guidelines for the people, shops and political party’s to place advertisements in and around Trivandrum city; there are laws to charge fine and to arrest all those, who violate the laws of the corporation in placing the advertisements without the prior permission. Placing advertisements in city limits is one of the main income of the Trivanrdum Corporation. The Corporation has already collected Rs.31.318 lakh as advertisement tax till February 25, against a total collection of Rs.21.21 lakh last year.Senior officials say the figure is expected to go up to Rs.45 lakh by the end of the fiscal year.Officials attributed the enhanced collection to a government order issued on January 17, revising the tax rate within the city limits, with effect from April 2008. Last month, Mayor C. Jayan Babu had convened a meeting of representatives of political parties, service organisations and trade unions regarding the installation of publicity materials in roads & parks. As per the agreement arrived at in the meeting, the organisations were given time to remove hoardings, notices, banners, arches and advertisement boards erected by them in public places .Pasting of notices and other publicity materials on statues was strictly banned.Although the Corporation has declared the East Fort-Kowdiar stretch as a litter-free zone (EVIDENCE ATTACHED) avoiding all means of advertisement to keep the city clean and beautiful. We went to the corporation department to collect the application form for placing the advertisement, while coming out of the office, it seems there are lot of advertisements in the front of the office itself, (PHOTO EVIDENCE ATTACHED) its mentioned as per rules there should be only one address board in each building, to place an another the permission is needed, for that the payment has to made as per rules. All publicity materials must be taken permission, and a seal from the corporation has to placed, for easy identification of the permitted one. We dint see any corporation seal on any posters or flex banners (PHOTO EVIDENCE ATTACHED).We found that the political parties placing their flex boards without any manner, these advertisements really take the major part of foot path, (PHOTO EVIDENCE ATTACHED) even cover the traffic signals(PHOTO EVIDENCE ATTACHED). Banks are also using their advertisements without any permission (PHOTO EVIDENCE ATTACHED). Really all may be aware of this, but if they neglect the rule that there is a need for permission to place the advertisements, the corporation can take away, and can be fined. Do the officials are forced to ignore this or are they supporting the crime.Anyway this will not do good in either way .

സെകട്രിയെടിനു മുനില്‍ ബസ്സ് യാത്ര ക്കാരായ ആളുകള്‍ ദുരിതം കൊണ്ടു വലയുന്നു .സെകട്രിയെട്ടിനു മുന്നില്‍ വെയിറ്റിംഗ് ഷെഡ്‌ ഇല്ലാത്തതും ,ബസ്സുകള്‍ സ്റ്റോപ്പ്‌കളില്‍ യെദാ സ്ഥാനത്ത് നിര്‍ത്താത്തതും,ബസ്സുകള്‍ തമ്മിലുള്ള മത്സര ഒട്ടവുമാണ് ആളുകളുടെ ദുരിതത്തിന് കാരണമയിരിക്കുനത്പല ആവശ്യങ്ങള്‍ക്കായി ദിവസവും ആയിരകണക്കിന് ആളുകളാണ് സെക്കട്രിയെട്ടിനു മുന്നില്‍ വന്നു പോകുന്നത് എന്നാ വസ്തുത നിലനില്കുബോള്‍ പോലും അധികാരികള്‍ വെയിട്ടിഗ് ഷെഡോ മറ്റു അടിസ്ഥാന സൗകര്യങ്ങലോ ഏര്പെടുതിയിട്ടില്ല ബസ്സ്റ്റോപ്പ്‌ എന്നാ നിലയില്‍ ഒരു ബോര്‍ഡ് മാത്രമാണ് ഇവിടെ സ്ഥാപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത് ബസ്സുകള്‍ തമ്മിലുള്ള മത്സര ഓട്ടമാണ് യാത്രക്കാര്‍ക്ക്‌ ഏതാ സ്ഥാനങളില്‍ ഇരങുവ്ന്നോ കയരുവാണോ സാധിക്കാതെ വരുന്നു ......രാവിലയും വൈകിട്ടുമാണ് യാത്രക്ലാശം ഏറ്റവും കൂടുതല്‍ അനുഭവപൈടുനത് . സ്കൂളില്‍ വന്നുപോകുന്ന കുട്ടികളാണ് ദുരിതം ഏറ്റവും കൂടുതല്‍ അന്നുഭവിക്കേണ്ടി വരുന്നത്.വിദ്യാര്ത്ഥികളില്‍ നിന്നു വളരേ തുച്ചമായ പൈസമാത്രം കിട്ടുന്നതും മറ്റു യാത്രക്കാരെ കയറ്റാന്‍ പറ്റില്ല എന്നതുകൊണ്ടാണ് ബസ്സ്‌ സ്റ്റോപ്പില്‍ നിര്‍ത്താതെ മാറ്റി നിര്‍ത്തുന്നത് അതിനാല്‍ യാത്രക്കാരും കുട്ടികളും ബസിനു പുറകേ ഓടുകയാണ് പതിവ് ,അത് അപകടങ്ങള്‍്ക് കാരണമാകുന്നു .യാത്രക്കാരുടെ ദുരിതം തീരുന്നില്ല ഒരു വെയിറ്റിങ് ഷട്ട് ഇല്ലാത്തതിനാല്‍ മഴയും വൈലും അനുഭവിക്കുകതന്നേ വഴിയുള്ളൂ .ദ്രുതഗതിയില്‍ നഗരം മോഡിപിടിപ്പിക്കുംപോഴും യാത്രക്കാരായ ജനങ്ങളുടെ അവശ്യം നമ്മുടെ ഭരന്നകൂടം കണ്ടില്ലെന്നു നടിക്കുകയാണ് ..................................

മണ്ണിലും ജലത്തിലും വായുവിലും വിഷം നിറച്ചുകൊണ്ട് മലിനീകരണം സാന്ദ്രീകരിച്ച വിഷപര്‍വങ്ങളിലൂടെ  കൊല്ലം ജില്ലയിലെ K M M L.....

ലാഭക്കൊതിയുടെ ക്രൌരങ്ങള്‍ ചവറയുടെ മണ്ണില്‍ വിതച്ചത് ഹൃദയശൂന്യതയുടെ വിഷവിത്തുകള്‍ ആണ്. മണ്ണിര പോലും ഇല്ലാത്ത ഊഷരഭൂമിയായി ചവറയെ മാറ്റിയത് ലാഭാര്‍ത്തിയുടെ ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥരോ ഭരണാധികാരികളോ രാഷ്ട്രീയക്കാരോ???

പരിസരവാസികളുടെ ആര്യോഗ്യത്തിനു ഭീഷണിയായി നില്‍കുന്ന 'കേരള മിനറല്‍സ് ആന്‍ഡ്‌ മെറ്റല്‍സ്‌ ലിമിറ്റഡ്  'ന്‍റെ മാലിന്യങ്ങള്‍ ഒരു നാടിനെ നശിപ്പിക്കുന്ന ഭീകരതയിലേക്ക്  വളര്‍ന്നുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു. ആസിഡ്‌പൂളില്‍ കൂടി കിനിഞ്ഞിറങ്ങുന്ന ആസിഡ്‌ വെള്ളം ഭൂഗര്‍ഭ ജലത്തില്‍ നിന്ന് ചുറ്റും ശുദ്ധജല ഉറവകളെയാകെ പുളിപ്പിച്ചുകളയുന്നു. ഒരിറ്റു ദാഹജലത്തിനു തൊണ്ട ഇടറുന്ന ചവറയുടെ ദുരിതകാലം.ആസിഡ് റികവറി പ്ലാന്‍റില്‍ നിന്നും ടൈട്ടനിയം റെക്ട്ര ക്ലോറൈഡ് ടാങ്കില്‍ (ടിക്കില്‍ ടാങ്ക്) തുരുമ്പ്പിടിച്ചഗ്യാസ് പൈപ്പുകളില്‍ നിന്നും പടര്‍ന്നു  നിറയുന്ന വിഷവായുവിന്റെ സാന്ദ്രത ഈ നാടിനെ രോഗതുരമാക്കുന്നു.

വര്‍ഷം 360 കോടി രൂപ വിറ്റുവരവുള്ള ഈ കമ്പനിയുടെ ഒരു ശതമാനം പോലും ക്ഷേമ  പ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങള്‍ക്കോ , മലിനീകരണ നിയന്ത്രനതിനോ  ഉപയോഗിക്കപ്പെടുന്നില്ല. മലിനികരണനിയന്ത്രണ

ബോര്‍ഡ് ഒരുനോക്കുകുത്തിയായ റബ്ബര്‍  സ്റ്റാമ്പ് മാത്രമാണ്.വായുവും മണ്ണും ജലവും പരിപൂര്‍ണമായി  മലിനീകരിച്ച മാനേജ്മെന്റിന്  എതിരെ ഒരു പ്രോസികൂഷന്‍നടപടി പോലുംഎടുക്കാനാവാത്ത മലിനീകരണബോര്‍ഡ്‌.ക്ഷേമ പ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങള്‍ക്ക്   എന്ന പേരില്‍

 രാഷ്ട്രീയകാരന്റെ മടിശീലകളില്‍  നക്കാപിച്ച കുത്തിനിറയ്ക്കുന്ന ഒരു വെല്‍ഫെയര്‍  ബോര്‍ഡായി  മാറുകയാണ്.

    "ഈ നീലവാനങ്ങളിലും  തഴുകിവരുന്ന ഇളംകാറ്റിലും കളകളം പാടുന്ന അരുവികളിലും  വിഷം തുപ്പുന്ന മാനേജ്‌മന്റ്‌ അസുരന്മാര്‍.."‍എല്ലാചോദ്യങ്ങള്ക്കും,എല്ലാ

നിര്‍വചനങ്ങള്‍ക്കും  പോരാട്ടങ്ങള്ക്കും അപ്പുറത്തേക്ക് ഇവര്‍ അതിജീവനം നേടിയിരിക്കുന്നു. ആരുടെ  ഇച്ചാശക്തിക്കും അപ്പുറത്തേക്ക് അതിജീവനം നടത്തിയ ഈ രോഗാണുകള്‍ക്ക് വാക്സിന്‍  നിര്‍മിക്കാന്‍ കഴിയുനില്ല. കോടതികളുടെ വിധിന്യയങ്ങളെ നിസംഗതയോടുകൂടി നിഷേധിക്കാന്‍  ഇവര്‍ക്ക്  ശേഷി നിറച്ചു കൊടുക്കുന്നമൂന്നാംകിട രാഷ്ട്രീയ ഭിക്ഷാമ്ധേഹികള്‍ ഉണ്ടിവിടെ .നിയമം വാക്കുകളില്‍ മരിച്ചുകിടക്കുന്നതിന്റെ  അതീവദയനീയ ദുരന്ത കാഴ്ചകളാണ് ഇവിടെ. പച്ചപ്പും മത്സ്യവും, ഗ്രാമ്യതയും, തകിടംമറിഞ്ഞു ശോഷിച്ചു പോയ ഹൃദയഭേദകമായ ദുരിതങ്ങളാണ് ഇവിടെവിടെയും.ഇവിടെ ആത്യന്തികമായി ജനങ്ങള്‍ക്ക്‌  ആശ്രയിക്കാന്‍  കഴിയുന്നത് നിയമഞരെയും ,നിയമപാലകരെയും ഭരണാധികാരികളെയും ആണ്.നിയമം ജനങ്ങള്‍ കൈയ്യിലെടുക്കുന്നത്  ജനങ്ങള്ക്ക് വേണ്ടി ഇവര്‍ നന്മകള്‍ ചെയ്യാതിരിക്കുമ്പോള്‍ ആണ്. മലിനീകരണം സാന്ദ്രീകരിച്ച ഈ ഭൂമിയിലേക്ക്  മേലധികാരികളുടെ ശ്രദ്ധ ഞങ്ങള്‍ ക്ഷണിക്കുന്നു...

Nov 14 th CHILDRENS DAY Children’s Day is celebrated to honor childhood and is celebrated on 14th November in India, the date which marks the birth anniversary of independent India’s first Prime minister-Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. Panit Jawaharlal Nehru was born on November 14. After his death in year 1963, his birthday has been celebrated as children’s day. The reason of celebrating his birthday as children’s day is because of his love and passion for children. That’s the reason he is also known as Chacha Nehru. Apart from being known for his skills as a statesman, Nehru was also immensely fond of children. The more popular and famous of Nehru’s pictures show him with children.
This day as children day, let’s not forget the children who work for their own bread and for the family also. Every time children’s day is celebrated with lots of functions, but no one remembers the children who is left behind.

MIND YOUR LANGUAGE
Last days news really shocked me; it was about some people disturbing a function for not using Marathi language in Maharastra. It seems that a person was taking oath in assembly by using Hindi language.i didn't understand for what the people are fighting in the name of languages. The official language of the Republic of India is Hindi. The Union government is required by law to progressively increase the use of Hindi in official work. Over time however our ego grew and we stopped understanding each other, that's when all of the other languages developed, because they represent the broken connections between us. Its time , to realize our mistakes n misconceptionsTreat every language as equal.And above all ;RESPECT OUR NATIONAL LANGUAGE.

REMEMBER NOVEMBER

Let’s not forget the 2008 November; our mother land was attacked by terrorists, really a shocking incident for all of us. They made all Indians to a stand still for 3 days; we have given back a tough reply in all the means we can. But let’s remember once more; that it’s we Indians have to be more united avoiding the language, regional & political barriers. Let us at this time remember the four Mumbai police personnel — ATS chief Hemant Karkare; Additional Commissioner of Police, Ashok Kamte; Inspector Vijay Salaskar; and Assistant Sub Inspector Tukaram Umble, 2 NSG personnels Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan and Havildar Gajender Singh.
Salute to this brave hearted Police Officers, who died for our country.

Killer on Wheels ..

The Red Killers as youngsters in Ernakulam call them, a kind of their breed is found in almost every city in Kerala. So, who are these killers? Private Buses, they're called by more objective people. And what are private buses? These are buses owned by private contractors or individual. They may/may not be licensed to transport people for a fare and service areas where KSRTC (Kerala State Road Transport Corporation) fails to function.

Needless to say, they are a constant torment in their regular nature of declaring "strikes".But beyond that, in their rabid and violent competition with public transport buses, Private buses are feared for their rash-driving and total disregard for safety.

An average of 400 cases of accidents every year, has been reported in Kozhikode in the last three years. Ernakulam sees worse even with Traffic police depoted at every junction. Trivandrum is no less a competition with over 150 private buses operating in the city.

Bus operators however blame it on the Government's refusal to permit a hike in ticket rates. In addition to this, most of the commuters on private buses are students travelling on concessional rates. This forces the private buses to compete each other for passengers.

Most of the private buses are not fitted with speed governors. Some of the bus owners have removed these citing repairs.

But what is surprising is the fact that, this trouble comes to notice or is taken to a police station only when someone dies. Even with The Traffic Department and the Motor Vehicles Department talking of taking action time and again, nothing is done.

There are a number of sections under IPC that deal with rash driving:

• Section 279 (Rash driving or riding on a public way), leading to imprisonment and a fine of Rs. 1000
• Motor Vehicles act - Section 184(driving dangerously), makes the driver contravening the speed limit punishable with fine of Rs.400/-, also driving dangerously in the public place shall be punishable for the first offence up to six months or fine which may extent to Rs.1,000/-, and for any or subsequent offence that the imprisonment extending up to two years or fine extending to Rs.2,000/-, or both.
• Section 189 - Fine and punishment for speeding vehicles
• Section 338. Causing grievous hurt by act endangering life or personal safety of others , imprisonment for upto two years and a fine of Rs. 1000
• And for extreme cases, Section 304 A (causing death by negligence not amounting to culpable homicide)

But all said, how many of these drivers driving rashly actually get slapped with fines or get behind bars? With most of these private bus owners being related directly or indirectly to law enforcers in the state, most of the reported cases go unnoticed or sit in a file for years on hold.

Guru Greg wanted Sachin out of Indian team!

Last week, I was juz goin thru TV channels, and then I saw an interview with former India wicket-keeper and Chief Selector Kiran more. I don’t remember the name of that programme, but it was on Zee news. But that interview revealed great news for the cricket lovers across India. In a stunning revelation, Kiran More said that Greg Chappell wanted Sachin to be kept out of the Indian team, and pressurized the selection committee to toe-in line.

Chappell, who had a much talked about rift with the then captain Sourav Ganguly, played a significant role in the ouster of the latter. But it had never come into fore that Sachin was also on Greg’s hit list.

Talking exclusively to Zee News, Kiran More, for the first time, came out with the sensational news that the Greg had problems with Sachin too, as the Master Blaster was annoyed with the way the coach was doing ‘certain things’.

But More said that despite the pressure, they never even thought of ousting Sachin from the team, and never discussed it during any of selection committee meetings.

One of my friends who also were there watching the interviews made an interesting comment about it: "Think if Greg was in India, and Sachin made out of the team... He wud have never seen Australia after that!!!"

Kargil War

The Kargil War, also known as the Kargil conflict, was an armed conflict between India and Pakistan between April and June 1999 in Kashmir. The cause of the war was infiltration of Pakistani soliders into positions on the Indian side of the Line of Control, which serves as the de facto border between the two nations. Pakistan blamed the fighting on independent Kashmiri insurgents; however, documents left behind by casualities and later statements by the Prime Minister and Army Chief {{refPak}} showed involvement of Pakistani paramilitary forces. The Indian Army, supported by the air force, attacked the Pakistani positions and eventually forced a withdrawal across the Line of Control

SKY THEATRE
I never thought of such a theatre, really it was my first experience to visit such a theatre. The Priyadarshini Planetarium at Tivandrum is one of the best in India, if my knowledge is correct this kind of a projection for the theatre is very rare in India. The sky theatre provides a panoramic experience of the universe with advanced projection technology, its a centrally air conditioned one, the projection is on the doom on the top, its a 360 degree projection, this really makes us we are flying in the universe. Planetarium has a GM-11 main field star projector with the capacity to project almost all the constituents of the universe.
Really a wonderful experience and I suggest everyone for a visit to this place.

I have felt that Black & White photography is something more communicative than colour photography. In colour photography everything is revealed to the original in the first look itself, while I have felt that if a black and white photo is seen, we will take more time to look and study that photo. Why because we see the world in colour now, what I mean is most the print media is now in colour, and many of the television receivers are in colour. So in the world of colour if we see a black and white photo, I’m sure people will stay for a deep look to it. In the above photo the wide frame will speak more than the colour, isn’t? While talking about black and white let me take this time to remember our old black and white studios, and the then photographers who have proved their skill on   b & w still photography. I could recollect the old ORWO film in b & w. Anyway in a world of speed and colour let’s not forget the world of black and white which we came through.

WILL GOD RECEIVE SMS
Some day’s back I got a sms from my friend, saying that this sms should be sent to another 10 persons, so that I will have good luck, if not there will be bad luck for me. And the sms also tells that some of the allotments or blessings from God who all have sent this sms to other 10 or more people. It states that they bought a house in another 10 days, the other one bought a car, and so on goes the list.
I have noticed that people still believe in this type of gimmicks or this type of foolishness. Previously also I have received this type of sms from my friends, when I asked them about the details, they were not aware to the foolishness of this, but they don’t want God to get angry due to this. I have calculated the amount the mobile providers get if such 1000 people use this type of sms. I was wondering who the parent of this type of sms. Anyway let me ask how God will know such sms are being sent or not, what are the criteria of God in allotting the gifts for what sms are sent. Anyway you may know the answers Pl do tell me also, so that I get a house and a car.
